Job title:Voice Product Manager

Reports to: Title of Manager (not person’s name)

Responsible for defining, in detail, the ‘why’, ‘what’ and ‘when’ of the product that the engineering team will build.

• Responsible for setting a product vision and strategy. clearly articulate the business value to the product team so they understand the intent behind the new product or product release. Owns the strategy behind the product and its roadmap and must work with engineering to build what matters.

• Defines the features and requirements necessary to deliver a complete product to market and leads the product team to success. responsible for articulating the ‘what’ and working with engineering to determine the ‘when.’

• Responsible for making product decisions and Act as the lead resource for the rest of the organization when deep product expertise is required. This includes supporting the organizations that work directly with customers—namely sales and support.

• Own the roadmap for The product. Be able to communicate both the business and technical rationale behind your product decisions.

• Mock up concepts, write functional specs, cut tickets, write copy and do whatever it takes to express ideas to our internal engineers, designers and other product managers

• Engage with customers to understand how we can improve our products to increase functionality and unlock new uses.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Must have 5+ years experience as a Product Manager in Voice related products (VOIP, Call centers, SIP Trunking, Conferencing,or Asterisk).

• thrives in a fast moving environment with a heavy dose of ambiguity.

• have experience shipping products in a fast-paced environment.

• hands on, passionate, and collaborative.

• experience in telecom is prefered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Revenue attainment for products, Identifying Revenue growth opportunities

• Responsible for the go to market Strategy

• Pricing of Products and services

• Creating offering and packaging to match Market needs

• Responsible for clearly communicating the ‘why’, ‘what’ and ‘when’ to the marketplace

• Responsible for defining the market position within the context of the overall product strategy. This means the product marketing manager should be conducting competitor analysis, market research, and be tight with the sales team to inform the strategic positioning of the product to customers, partners, and market influencers

• Responsible for articulating all of the outbound tasks necessary to clearly explain the benefits of those features and translate them into customer-facing messaging. He is tasked with giving product demonstrations at trade shows and webinars, delivering presentations to customers and prospects, as well as creating marketing collateral. He owns defining the product for market understanding.

• Responsible for bringing the product to market and driving adoption of it—including arming sales with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful; developing customer-facing presentations; as well as outlining the marketing programs required for demand generation Main KPI's: - Revenue Growth, Churn, ARPU, CLTV

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Business Acumen: you might demonstrate this with 8+ years of experience, or an MBA, or experience running your own business. Examples of using metrics and analysis to drive informed business decisions interest us.

• Creativity: Get creative in demonstrating your creativity.

• Technical Curiosity: Maybe you’ve worked for an enterprise software, SaaS or web services company. Maybe you have a degree in Computer Science. Maybe you just geek out on the side.

• Worked with technology products that have targeted developers with cloud-based services.

• Worked with technology products that have targeted enterprises via direct, online, and channel strategies.

• Experience in B2B technology products,

• Voice and SMS experience is a plus
